Separation in the Quest for Love

Written by on July 9, 2018

The ease at which people (self included) step into disconnection and separation for (insert justifiable reason here) really breaks my heart and opens me up to the feeling of deep sadness.

I think it’s linked to the desire of each one of us to be in union, reunion or communion with LOVE.

The main issue I see is that most of us don’t have the slightest inkling of the true nature of love. Sure we have tasted it. Sure we have even lived parts of it. However, an embodied approach to love, is the most challenging and daring act one can commit to.

It pulls and rips us apart daily because love only knows unity and any act of separation, is giving into the ego’s need to be justified in it’s difference to the whole and therefore made special.

News flash: No one is special. For no reason. We are all reflections of each other and for each other, and to dive into full acceptance of this may offer the smallest peephole into the essence of love.

Until then, I continue to tear apart everything I know about myself to be true, so that I can wake up again fresh and open to be consumed by the group heart into the surrender of one divine love that knows no separation from source and therefore is always safe and complete as is.
